*** EQUIVALENT TO 3 x A-LEVELS *** If you are looking to improve your knowledge in the Sport and Leisure industry then here is the place to start. While on the course you are given the opportunity to learn how to coach a wide range of sports and safely prepare a fitness session within the College fitness suite. You also get the chance to organise events for local Primary schools to come and visit the college and take part in various sports. You will also have the opportunity to gain coaching qualifications whilst on this course. This full time course is taught over 3/4 days a week for: - 1 year for the 90-Credit Diploma in Sport (1.5 x A-Level equivalents) - 2 years for the Extended Diploma in Sport (3 x A-Level equivalents). The course includes maths and English (if not already achieved at GCSE Grade C or above), tutorials and a mandatory work placement, in order to fully prepare learners for employment or Higher Education.
