You will learn about:? Drawing: line, tone, form, volume and shape, through different exercises and direct observation. Colour theory - learn about the colour wheel, the different properties of colour and how to mix colours. Applying your knowledge of colour theory to your paintings working from life, direct observation and from photographs. Organising a painting so that it is successful. i.e. composition, colour combination, balance, rhythm etc. Using different mediums; pastels, watercolour, oil pastels, ink, acrylics, oils and then concentrate on the medium of your choice. Innovative ways of creating an image and expressing yourself.
