Millinery - Fascinators & Cocktail Hats

Make a statement at your next special occasion by designing and creating a unique fascinator or cocktail hat. In this workshop you will learn how to create a stunning fascinator or cocktail hat using a pre-blocked base. You will learn a range of millinery techniques to design and construct your unique fascinator or cocktail hat.Topics covered include basic stitch and construction techniques. You will learn how to cover the hat base in fabric, add bias binding and attach a headband or hat elastic as a hair fastening. To complete your fascinator or cocktail hat you will embellish and attach your chosen millinery trimmings to the covered base.
