If you have successfully completed the French Improvers Award and you would like to further develop your confidence and competence in the French language and understanding of Italian culture, then this course is for you. Ideally you will have successfully completed the Level one Award or have a reasonably competent grasp of French. Those who have completed the Award will have had approximately 80 hours of French language tuition. You will cover a wide range of topics. All skills will be covered but the focus of the assessment will be upon reading and writing.The focus of the class is on using the language in a functional context and there will be an element of grammar to support this. By doing a range of reading, writing, speaking and listening tasks, activities and games. You will work in pairs, groups and individually. Your tutor will carry out continual assessment through a range of activities. You will build up a portfolio of evidence for reading and writing tasks.
