British Sign Language Introduction

This is an introductory course designed to assist in communicating in everyday settings using BSL. Topics may include, but are not restricted to: How to use the BSL alphabet How to use numbers Giving personal information about yourself and your family Going shopping Ordering food and drinks in a cafe It is important to understand cultural and social characteristics of the Deaf community. Time may be allocated for discussing how to open and close communications with a BSL user in a crowded or noisy environment.
