History (Modern) A Level L3 1719

This course covers the period 1780-1989 and looks at German History from the end of World War One through to the fall of the Berlin Wall. Twentieth century Spanish History is also studied from 1930-78 and looks at the causes and consequences of the Spanish Civil War 1936-39 and Spain's return to democracy in the late 1970s. The Origins of the Cold War in the aftermath of World War Two will be studied as a coursework module and learners will also study a history of British Political Radicalism 1780-1928.
