The aim of this qualification is to recognise the skills knowledge and competence required for you to work unsupervised as a personal trainer. This includes being able to offer onetoone training baseline assessment nutritional advice and progressive programming which is specific to the individual needs of a client. in leisure centres gyms and health and fitness clubs or as an independent freelance Personal Trainer. This course is offered at both South Devon College and Newton Abbot Leisure Centre. You will require a recognised level 2 gym instructor qualification to enrol onto this course.The course units will include;; Anatomy and Physiology for Exercise and Health; Applying the Principles of Nutrition to a Physical Activity Programme; Programming Personal Training with Clients; Delivering Personal Training
