You will work towards projects and make a cushion, quilt cover, bag, jacket and skirt, stretch top and complete a variety of sample work covering tailoring. You will gain a good understanding of seams, hemlines, decorative finishes and garment breakdowns used for construction techniques and processes. Your work will be evidenced in a folder and you will be assessed on the practical work you produce. How to sew and use all the machinery and equipment including pressing, lay planning, cutting, garment construction and quality control.
