The course duration is 12 - 14  months. For the main skills qualification, the learner has to undertake a minimum of 29 credits of which 15 credits are mandatory, these units are: <a href="https://live.onefile.co.uk/standards/form.aspx?UnitID=BIBLHS_01&amp;StandardID=14414"> Maintenance of a safe, hygienic and secure working environment</a> <a href="https://live.onefile.co.uk/standards/form.aspx?UnitID=BIBLHS_03&amp;StandardID=14414"> Serve alcoholic and soft drinks</a> <a href="https://live.onefile.co.uk/standards/form.aspx?UnitID=BIBLHS_02&amp;StandardID=14414"> Working effectively as part of a hospitality team</a> <a href="https://live.onefile.co.uk/standards/form.aspx?UnitID=BIBLHS_04&amp;StandardID=14414"> Prepare and clear the bar area</a> There are many optional units to meet your individual circumstances and include:Order stock Clean drinks dispense lines Prepare and serve wines Barista skills For the operations knowledge qualification, the learner has to undertake 15 credits in total of which 10 are mandatory. These units are:Customer and Drinks Service Food Safety in Catering Alcohol Awareness Legal and Social Responsibilities of a Personal Licence Holder Health and Safety in the Workplace Principles of Conflict Management in Licensed Hospitality Licenced Hospitality Operations Drugs Awareness in Licensed Hospitality There are many optional units to meet your individual circumstances and include:Beer and Cellar Quality - Cask and Keg Understanding the Retail Selling process Customer Service Excellence in Licensed Hospitality Sales Promotion and Merchandising Learners will need to attend college for a minimum 13 days within the year to attend classes and at the end of each course they will undertake a written test to demonstrate their knowledge and understanding in these units. As a part of this course the learner will receive their personal Licence
