This programme is geared to providing you with the practical skills and financial expertise to allow you to follow a rewarding career in professional accountancy. The AAT Accounting Qualification gives you the relevant and practical skills to do a wide range of accounting and finance jobs. The course is extremely flexible and is open to all, no matter what your age or previous experience. You will study the following units: Bookkeeping Transactions and Controls covers all aspects of double entry bookkeeping up to and including preparing a trial balance. Elements of Costing is an introduction to various costing methods. Working Effectively in Finance looks at prioritising workloads and working as a team, as well as work policies and procedures and the importance of personal development. Using Accounting Software (Sage) is an introduction to accounting software, inputting data and producing reports. On successful completion of this course you could progress on to AAT Level 3 Advanced Diploma in Accounting.
