There will be real life examples of the functions and an opportunity to practise using them in class. You will also learn how to summarise large amounts of Excel data effectively using Pivot Tables and use that data to create charts, as well as using Excel's VLookUp function data to insert data from one table into another. This short course includes an introduction to Pivot Tables and Pivot Charts along with the VLookUp function. Pivot tables are an invaluable tool to analyse large amounts of data and can provide an excellent snapshot of that data. The VLookUp function looks for a value in the left-hand column of a table and then returns a value in the same row from another column that you specify, into a separate table of data.
