The course is intended to be for operatives who carry out installation and maintenance work on domestic natural gas pipe work and appliances as required under Accredited Certification Scheme rules. The Core Gas Safety Training includes training and assessment in the following areas: Gas Safety (Installation & Use) Regulations, Relevant Health and Safety, RIDDOR, The Combustion Process Burners, Gas Rating, Gas Safety Controls, Flueing requirements, Ventilation requirements, Pipework and pipe sizing and Industry Unsafe procedures.
