This course can be studied either as an Apprenticeship or as a 'stand alone' student and has multiple routes available so you can study units relevant to your work role. Areas of Study Animal health, nutrition, anatomy and physiology, animal handling, animal husbandry, breeding, first aid and customer care. This list is not exhaustive. Method of Assessment Students are required to compile a portfolio of evidence to demonstrate competence in a range of tasks. After Completion of Your Course... Progress to a higher level qualification such as the Level 3 Diploma in Workbased Animal Care, or the Level 3 Diploma in Animal Management.
