This course will expand your knowledge and skills in order to work in the electrical installation industry. You will learn the intermediate skills of electrotechnical technology through the combination of theory lessons and practical work in our modern, well-equipped workshops. The course will also develop your confidence to conduct repairs and carry out fault finding on electrical circuitry.Throughout this course you will study a range of subjects, including testing dead circuits, safe isolation procedures, comprehensive metal working skills, and conduit and trunkingGood English and maths skills are essential for success in studying and for future employment prospects and so Croydon College ensures that these skills are developed in all learning opportunities.It’s also important to have good English and maths qualifications and so all students will study English and maths and work towards an appropriate level and type of qualification including GCSE.
