This apprenticeship covers installing, testing and inspecting industrial and commercial heating and ventilating systems. This includes performing electrical work on mechanical building service systems. Establishing and maintaining relationships in the building services engineering sector. Co-coordinating a work site. Hot and cold water systems, heating, chilled water, fuel systems (gas, oil and solid fuel). Maintaining and repairing industrial components. Health and safety and environmental legislation are also covered. Apprentices will gain an internationally recognised qualification which guarantees that they have the skills, knowledge and abilities required to carry out their role successfully. Employers will also benefit from their employees being proficient in their trade.
