Who is the course for? This course is well suited to people who wish to use computers creatively and enjoy problem solving. The course is entirely portfolio based so there are no external exams What can it lead to? The BTEC Level 3 Diploma in IT is equivalent to 2 A-Level. It can lead to studying an ICT related degree at university. It can also lead to a variety of jobs including web development, technical support, software engineer. What will I study? This course allows learners progressing from The BTEC Level 3 Subsidiary in IT to further expand and enhance the range of skills gained in the first year and enhance creativity. Learners will be able to choose between 2 pathways either Software Development or Systems Engineering.
