The course is entirely portfolio based so there are no external exams What can it lead to? The BTEC Level 3 Diploma in IT is equivalent to 2 A-Level. It can lead to studying an ICT related degree at university. It can also lead to a variety of jobs including web development, technical support, software engineer. What will I study? This course allows learners progressing from The BTEC Level 3 Subsidiary in IT to further expand and enhance the range of skills gained in the first year and enhance creativity. Learners will be able to choose between 2 pathways either Software Development or Systems Engineering.
