This is TWO subject choices and leads to two AS levels. AS Further Mathematics cannot be studied without AS Maths. You will need at least an A grade in Maths GCSE to study AS Further Maths. In this additional course you will study three further modules - Further Pure 1, Mechanics 1 and Decision Mathematics 1. You will meet new mathematical objects such as matrices and complex numbers and take a more rigorous approach to proving results.
