This course is designed for a wide range of learners, including those with specific learning disabilities, 14-19 year old learners who require a vocational curriculum, disaffected learners and those who have not yet achieved formal qualifications. The aim of the qualification is to give learners the opportunity to gain knowledge and understanding of a range of skills with relevance to the area of Construction. The course is designed as an introduction to the work place and will help you develop the skills you need to work in the construction industry. You will cover areas such as: * Using ICT systems * Money Management * Job and career preparation In addition students will study English and Maths as part of their course.
