This course is designed for anyone wanting to pursue a career in animal care and management. You will devleop your knowledge of the animal industry and gain hands-on practical skills. The College has a wide range of animals such as wallabies, reptiles, chickens, ferrets and goats You will study a range of animal related topics such as: Animal Health and Welfare; Animal Biology; Animal Feeding and Nutrition; Animal Behaviour and Communication; Wildlife Rehabilitation and Conservation; Animal Breeding and Genetics; Practical Animal Handling and Husbandry You will also cover units on working within the animal sector such as Dog Grooming or Veterinary Nursing. Work experience and employability skills are an essential part of this course. All students will complete work experience in the industry
