This qualification is to guide and assess development of knowledge and skills relating to the children’s & young people’s workforce and will provide progression to the early learning and childcare, social care and learning development and support services work forces. To achieve the Level 3 Diploma in Children & Young People’s Workforce, learners must achieve a total of at least 65 Credits. 27 Credits must be achieved by completing the mandatory units, then select a pathway of which: Learners selecting early learning and childcare must achieve 22 credits and Learners selecting social care must achieve 13 credits. The remaining credits must be achieved from the Optional units.
