ESOL E3, L1, L2

UPDATED 20161109 11:11:59

Is this the right course for me? There are separate courses for speaking & listening and reading & writing. The courses are for adults, whose first language is not English, to improve their English skills. If you are taking a speaking & listening exam, you will work on pronunciation, intonation, vocabulary development and grammatical accuracy. If you are taking a reading exam, you will work on vocabulary development, grammatical accuracy and reading and understanding a range of texts. If you are taking a writing exam, you will work on vocabulary development, grammatical accuracy, planning and writing formally and informally. Learners joining these courses often need to gain confidence in their skills, to gain qualifications so they can attend other courses, or to gain promotion at work.
