This course is for those looking for a successful career in computing. It provides a specialist, work-related programme of study that covers the key knowledge, understanding and practical skills required by the computing sector. It is ideal for those who prefer to demonstrate their skills through coursework and allows you to broaden your career opportunities by opting not to specialise in one particular area. The HND will be broken down into two academic years with 8 units delivered in year 1 and 9 units delivered in year 2. All units will require a significant amount of private study designed to develop both your technical and communication skills. Each unit will require the submission of an assignment based on the semester's content. Your assignment will be graded with a pass, merit or distinction with all units counting towards your final HNC.
