This course will be useful for students with a genuine interest in Sport who wish to study the theory behind the practical side of Physical Education. It is particularly useful for those who are thinking of a career in PE teaching, physiotherapy, Sports Science, or being involved in the Leisure and Recreation industry. The course will focus on the application of knowledge and provide students with the opportunity to develop transferable skills for employment and further study. At Wyke students will be enrolled onto the OCR examining board with learners sitting three examinations at the end of their second year. During this time, students will study PE over four components, three theoretical and one practical unit.
