The course can be studied over one year as a qualification in its own right (90 Credit Diploma) or learners can return for the second year of the programme and will complete the Extended Diploma. Year One subjects include Investigating Travel and Tourism, the Business of Travel and Tourism, the UK as a Destination, Customer Service in Travel and Tourism, and European Travel Destinations. Second year units include Retail Travel, Long haul Travel, Marketing and Preparing for Employment in the Travel Industry.
