Drawing & Painting

UPDATED 20161025 10:15:18

This is a practical course which allows those with no prior knowledge to develop their drawing and painting skills, whilst allowing more practiced artists to bring their ideas and art work for individual guidance each week. Our aim is to build your confidence and for you to enjoy developing those techniques that will enhance your works of art. You will also have the opportunity to explore contemporary works and discuss your art interests with other learners. The course will explore the use of line, colour, tone, composition and the application of paint media, together with developing expressive qualities within a composition. You will be encouraged to develop ways of representation through the imaginative response to the observed world. Tuition is designed to encourage and develop your own individual creativity. All levels of experience are welcomed.
