Nail Technology Diploma Level 3

This course is a progression route from Level 2 Nail Services and will enable you to become a qualified nail technician. This one year course covers a wide range of both theoretical and practical aspects of Nail Services. The course will include all aspects of nail extensions including acrylic and gel sculptured nails, silk and fibreglass extensions and coloured acrylics. You will also cover nail art, including 3D embedding (into acrylic or gel), airbrushing and all other aspects to nail art. This course is designed for learners who desire a career in nail technology and want the option of working in salons, spas, health farms, cruise liners, freelance and many more.

Name: Nail Technology Diploma Level 3 Qualification title: Diploma in Nail Technology (QCF) Qualification type: Assessment You will be assessed while working in the college salons on real clients. The practical tasks are assessed and your achievements will be recorded in your logbook. There are written tests and oral questions to assess knowledge and assignment work for certain aspects of the course. Records of all the work undertaken should be kept to provide evidence of competence. These will form the basis of your portfolio. The practical assessments will be graded pass, merit or distinction.
