Develop your Painting - Colour Techniques

This course will help you to develop your use of colour in your paintings. You will explore different colour techniques, e.g. underpainting, layering, opacity, glazes and the effects these produce. You will also look at the work of a range of artists who use these techniques. We will work in acrylic paint., , By the end of this course, you should be able to:, , • Demonstrate the use of a range of colour techniques successfully, • Select appropriate techniques to use, • Draw on the work of various artists to inform your work, • Sucessfully review and evaluate your own work, , , There is no set 'homework', but you will get the most out of the course if you have time to do further work at home., There is no qualification for this course, , This course is suitable for beginners and students with some experience who would like to work on developing their own projects and improving their core skills.
