Business Studies allows you to investigate how businesses are managed and the factors that influence their ability to be successful. The course enables students to gain crucial management skills. Areas of study include Marketing & People, Managing Business Activities, Business Decisions & Strategy and Global Business. Also covered are external influences such as the effects of globalisation, European Union, PESTLE analysis and government legislation particularly in relation to growth. With Business Studies it will be possible to enter a vocational career on leaving school or go to university. Many business university courses have joint honours e.g. Business and Finance, Business and Language and Business and IT.
