It is an AS qualification that can be awarded up to an A* grade. It offers students a free project choice, so you can explore in depth an aspect of a subject you are studying, or a topic in which you have a personal interest. The topic for the project is chosen by you and agreed by your teacher, who then acts as your supervisor. You'll need to show that you can plan, deliver, and present an extended piece of work. The outcome of a project can be an artefact, an essay, a piece of music, a DVD or anything else that fits the criteria!
