Level 2 Diploma in Skills for Health and Social Care

This course will enable you to develop skills in caring within the Health and Social Care sector, including communication, individual rights and individual needs, cultural diversity, anatomy and physiology and human lifespan development. Work experience forms a mandatory part of the course. This qualification is internally assessed and externally verified by Edexcel. You will produce a range of assignments on a wide variety of topics related to Health and Social Care which will be graded at Pass, Merit or Distinction. The placement is an essential aspect of the course as you will refer to it in your assignments, as well as preparing you for work, or Level 3. All full-time learners will be required to study Functional Skills at the appropriate level. These will be in maths, English and ICT.
