A Level Health & Social Care (Double Award)

In the first year you will study the following topics: - Human Growth and Development - Communication and Positive Care Values These topics will be explored in the classroom and on work experience, with the opportunity to meet professionals from the Health and Social Care sector. In the second year you will study: - Meeting Individual Needs - How to Run a Health Promotion Campaign - How to Investigate Diseases The single award is more suitable for those who wish to pursue a career outside of the Health and Social Care sector. The Double Award would suit someone with a strong Health and Social Care career focus who enjoys studying for exams as well as writing for coursework.
