Public Services Level 3

UPDATED 20161005 12:03:44

This course looks at the public service sector, its role in society and working in a public service organisation. You will also learn about social and political influences on the public services and begin to understand more about human behaviour and how it will affect your work. In addition, you will plan and undertake an expedition, develop leadership skills and learn about how to work in a team. You will have an opportunity to discover a variety of outdoor activities and develop personal confidence through challenging yourself and achieving things that maybe you didn't think you were capable of, making you fully prepared for the unexpected demands of a uniformed public service career. The activities will prepare you for the physical assessment necessary to get into the uniformed public services, as well as improving your personal fitness.
