"The Fairbridge Programme is an individually tailored personal development programme combining one-to-one support and group activities. The programme aims to engage those young people most in need and not able to sustain or effectively engage with other provision. The broad range of activities on offer enable young people to develop all the skills they need for a healthier, stable life by supporting their emotional, physical and social wellbeing. Each young person undertakes their own journey through the programme. Individual journeys vary in duration, pace and content according to the young people's needs. Outcomes are varied and appropriate to each young person but include returning to or staying in education, entering employment or accessing further training. Each young person is supported by a dedicated member of staff and receive regular one-to-one support from their keyworker throughout their involvement in the programme. All group sessions are delivered at a staff to young person ratio of no less than one to four. Learning hours completed will total 50, and this will consist of group sessions and one-to-one support.
