Sewing Bee - Using an Overlocker

UPDATED 20150720 11:18:53

This course will enable you to better understand your overlocker; why threading correctly is so important, understanding the various tensions, how each of the stitches works, sewing with or without the blade, using stretch fabrics, sizes and types of needles to use with each type of fabric, etc. The course will give you the confidence to use your machine more fully. For those who wish to gain understanding of their overlocker or would like to try using one before purchasing their own.It is important to note that craft courses are practical and require a degree of manual dexterity. If you need to bring a carer with you, or be accompanied by another person, please ask to speak to the programme manager before you enrol.
