In your class you will improve your skills for home and work by looking at the English and Maths involved in everyday life.You will have an opportunity to improve your computer skills during the courseYou will need to complete classroom and homework activities to help you improve your skills You want to improve your English and Maths skills but are not ready to work towards a qualification You want to attend a small, friendly class and work at your own pace and level You want to be more confident using your skills to do familiar tasks in a practical way.You do not need any previous experience or qualifications in English or Maths to attend this course.You will be expected to attend regularly from the first session and complete any homework given. If you do not attend you may be withdrawn from the course. Progression discussions will take place throughout the course. You will be able to progress to further study either with S & L or outside agencies, volunteering opportunities or work.
