Body Massage Using Aromatherapy Oils

This course will introduce you to basic body massage techniques using aromatherapy oils. Learners will practise their massage skills on each other during the sessions. Due to the nature of the course and the practical aspects of massage, learners will need to have short finger nails in order to participate. Acrylic and other extensions are, unfortunately, not suitable. Please consider this before enrolling. Please note that this course may not be suitable for people who have had a medical operation or procedure within the previous six months, unless a letter from a GP states otherwise. The course covers: Anatomy and physiology in relation to areas of massage. Health, safety and hygiene. The benefit of body massage and essential oils. The principles of massage. Basic body massage techniques. How to select appropriate essential oils to use for massage. How to blend and store oils.
