A study of good business practise to provide the knowledge and understanding to operate effectively as a First Line Manager. Topics covered include: - Managing Yourself and Others - Managing Activities - Problem Solving Skills and Decision Making Skills - Information and Communication Systems - Managing Resources - Managing, Understanding and Planning Change - Understanding Organisations - Understanding Costs and Budgets (Topics may be subject to change) Project development sessions which will be included at appropriate times. A minimum of 7hrs tutorial guidance for personal development and assessments. This will be available every week on course days throughout the course, or on other days by mutual agreement.
