This programme is aimed at re-enforcing and extending independence, work and social skills. You will study a wide range of subjects including Functional Skills, Maths, English, IT, Workskills, Drama, Customer Service, Catering, Researching a Tourist Destination, Business Administration. You will also have two weeks work experience, one day voluntary work every week. All students take part in our annual showcase event, both as performers and as the front of house team There are also off-site enrichment activities arranged where you will experience a range of leisure and outdoor pursuits, including a trip to Marwell Activity Centre for team building and problem solving in the first term. All students without an A*-C grade in English or Maths will be required, as a condition of the programme, to undertake either a GCSE or Functional Skills programme. This programme is for students with a learning difficulty/disability who want to develop their life skills. Upon completion you may choose to enter employment or progress to a Level 1 work related study programme or Level 1 Introduction to Vocational Studies.
