This route is aimed at persons not currently in the electrical industry but are wishing to gain entry and work towards becoming a qualified electrician.Delivery is 1 day per week for 2 academic years. Assessment is via on-line and written exams, written and practical assignments.On completion of this qualification you will require to gain access to the electrical installation or maintenance industry to enable moving onto the NVQ level 3 Diploma in installing electrotechnical systems or maintenance. In addition to this you will require to complete a 'Bridging unit'.
