ESOL courses are intended for learners from other countries who are now living in the United Kingdom. Some learners may, in time, intend to apply for British Citizenship. In some cases learners may have received little formal education prior to coming to the UK.ESOL classes offer help with practical English needed for everyday life and work such as:Talking to the doctor or your child's teacherMeeting your neighborsReturning to work or studyFilling in formsAll ESOL courses are accredited and lead to a Cambridge Skills for Life qualification in reading, writing, speaking and listening.Content:In the classes you will work towards Skills for Life qualifications in English. British citizenship topics will be included in Entry level courses. All ESOL classes will give you the skills and confidence needed to enable you to progress to other courses.
