Yoga – For Women's Health How will this course help me? This course will help you gain experience in Yoga and improve your posture, flexibility and wellbeing. Who is the course for? This course is suitable for women of all ages and abilities. The exact content will be matched to the participants What can I expect to Learn? To practise Hatha yoga, ways to relax and meditation in order to discover what works for you and your body. To experiment with postures, breathing exercises, meditation and relaxation that are recommended for your time of life. How will I learn? There may be demonstrations, a chance to ask questions and to practice at your own pace. There are no exams or formal assessments. If you think you may need extra help with your learning, please ask your tutor or the Centre staff. We will try to help you. How will I know how well I am doing? The tutor will help you to recognise how well you are doing and what you need to do to improve. This may include developing your own learning plan. Will I have to do any work outside of the sessions? You may be given tasks or activities to complete to practice in between and prepare for the next and future sessions. You tutor will give guidance at the first session. What will I need to provide? Bring a Yoga mat and blanket, and wear loose comfortable clothes that allow you to move. Please bring a light lunch with you. A fridge is available to store your lunch in if required. . Will there be any other costs? (e.g. materials, books, registration with a professional body, etc.) You may be provided with a reading list to support your learning. All of the costs of this course are covered in the advertised course fee.
