Glasswork - stained glass - techniques

This course will give you all the skills required to design and build your own simple stained glass panel which you can take home at the end of the course. You will learn about cutting glass accurately, leading up, soldering your panel and finishing techniques. More advanced learners will be able to enhance their work by incorporating glass painting or fused elements.

Entry requirements

A small charge is included in the fee for basic materials and where appropriate a charge has been included for use of specialist equipment. Learners will be expected to purchase all drawing equipment, all glass, lead, coloured pencils, base boards and tracing paper. This will be discussed with the course tutor and will not be covered in the course materials fee. Please do not purchase anything before your first lesson unless requested to do so. No liability can be accepted for expenses incurred for a course cancelled/altered at short notice.
