This course is for anyone who wishes to use advanced features of Dreamweaver to create and develop a multi-page website with multimedia and interactive features. Ideally, candidates will have completed the OCR Level 2 Web Page Creation course or have similar skills.By the end of the course the learner will be able to:* Plan and develop the website structure* Organise and combine information* Use tables, layers and templates to control page layout* Use style sheets to control the appearance of text* Combine images with text, presentation with audio/video and numbers with charts and graphs* Create dynamic and interactive content* Use page counters and other external plug-ins* Understand copyright restraints* Understand access issues* Action buttons/hotspots, links and bookmarks* Upload content to a website and identify and solve any problems* Test the website

Name: Advanced Web Authoring Qualification title: Website Software Qualification type: Assessment The work will be assessed by the tutor on a regular basis from which feedback will be given to help improve skills. The final assessment will take the form of a practical assignment in which the candidate creates and hosts a 10 page web site of their own choice to meet the syllabus criteria which is marked by the Tutor and externally moderated by the examination board, OCR (Oxford, Cambridge and RSA).
