UPDATED 20160810 15:35:38

You will identify the barriers that functional skills learners face and how to help learners overcome them. Assess learners' needs and progress throughout their course. Plan a differentiated lesson that caters for the needs of all the learners, regardless of ability. Use a variety of different teaching methods to ensure that all learners can engage in the lesson. Recognise signs of safeguarding issues for vulnerable adults and what to do in such a situation. Find and develop appropriate resources to use with low level learners. Provide effective feedback to the tutor (if working as a volunteer or assistant tutor).
