These qualifications are aimed at people who wish to enter into the welding industry or wish to take up welding as a hobby, but who have very little or no experience in this field. It will enable people to gain the basic competences, skills and knowledge of differing processes and specialise in an area of their choice. You will need to complete level 1 first before progressing onto level 2 and can specialise in three different pathways; manual metal arc (MMA), tungsten inert gas (TIG) or metal inert gas (MIG) welding skills.
