This practical course will give you the opportunity to explore, develop and test your creativity skills. You will spend much of your time in the Art and Design studios working on practical projects but will also study the work of other artists and designers and how their work relates to your own projects. You will enhance your research skills through trips to galleries, museums and specialist workshops. In the summer term, you will showcase your work to the public and local employers in our professional art exhibition. What will you learn, You will work in a range of different media and processes, including: Painting, Drawing, Sculpture/Ceramics/3D, Printmaking, Graphics, Fashion/Textiles, Create a portfolio of work and End of year exhibition
