The entry qualification to teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector will now be a level 3 Award in Education and Training. We offer a high quality course in this area to allow teachers to start their teaching career in a fast and cost effective manner. The courses will consist of 11 three hour teaching sessions using a mixture of teaching techniques.

You will need to have a level 2 qualification in Literacy and Numeracy to apply for this course (GCSE grade C or equivalent). In addition you will probably need at least a level 3 qualification and/or significant vocational experience in the subject you are considering teaching. You do not need to be employed in a teaching role to apply for this course and most people undertake the course before securing a teaching position.
