This Art Photography course based in Margate will be looking at the use of the more abstract and conceptual approaches to digital photography. We will use the coastal surroundings of Margate, as well as inspriration from local artists such as Turner to put a contemporary spin on Photography and Art. By the end of this course students will be able to: 1) Take inspiration from the work of others and use this to plan there own photographic projects, 2) Select a suitable location, setting, subject, lighting and appropriate techniques to take imaginative and abstract photographs, 3) Decide how to produce the photographic images taken using Photoshop to edit/enhance images, 4) Identify ways to display images including options for printing and framing. If you are interested in Art and Photography and would like to combine these interests then this course is for you. If you would just like to be creative and experiment with your photographs then this will give you the opportunity to do exactly that! This course is for photographers or artists who would like to look into using photography as a new medium for their art.
