Introduction to Politics

UPDATED 20170124 14:44:07

Studying Politics means finding out about power. In this course we ask, who has the power in our society? How did they get this power, and how do they keep it? And we also ask, “how much power have I got, as someone who lives in 21st Century Britain?” You will also learn how to recognise different political perspectives, such as liberalism, conservatism and socialism, and you will be able to explore which of the major political perspectives makes the most sense to you.
