Our Foundation English courses help native and fluent English speakers achieve the language skills and confidence needed for everyday life and work. They are designed to help improve your grammar, spelling, punctuation, reading comprehension and speaking and listening skills. Many learners find these courses ideal for preparing to take GCSE English and maths. Courses run each term and lead to a qualification, so you can join a class when it suits you and progress through the levels at your own pace. We offer courses in reading, writing and speaking and listening, which are held during the daytime and evening. Before you enrol, you will have an assessment and an interview with one of our tutors who will help find the right English course for you. Interview Dates The course will include the development of skills including: • Speaking and Listening • Reading and analysis of different types of text • Writing, including punctuation, spelling and grammar
